What may change

This site is here to review and compare AI tools, and sites like this one are commonly funded by affiliate links. That may happen here in future.

If it does, this page will be updated to say so, and the rules below will apply from the start.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a normal link with a tracking code attached. If you click it and then sign up or buy, the company pays the site a small commission.

Two things worth knowing:

  • It costs you nothing. The price you pay is the same whether you use an affiliate link or type the address into your browser yourself.
  • It is a real financial interest. It's money, and money is a reason to be sceptical of anyone who recommends a product. That's exactly why this page exists.

The rules, if it ever applies

If affiliate links, sponsorship or advertising ever appear on this site:

  1. Disclosure will be on the page, not buried here. Any article containing affiliate links will say so clearly, near the top, before you reach the recommendation — not in small print at the bottom.
  2. The commission will never decide the verdict. Rankings, recommendations and criticism are decided the way the Editorial Policy describes: on how the tool actually performs for the reader the article is written for. A tool that pays more does not get ranked higher, and a tool with no affiliate programme at all can still win a comparison — including a free or open-source one.
  3. Criticism stays in. If a tool I could earn from has a real weakness, the weakness gets written down.
  4. Sponsored content will be labelled as sponsored. Clearly, in the article, in plain words — never disguised as an ordinary review.
  5. No paid reviews. Nobody can buy a positive verdict or a place in a list. Payment for coverage that isn't labelled as such is not something that will happen here.
  6. Your price stays the same. No commission arrangement will ever cost you extra.

What this doesn't change

Whether or not there is ever a commission involved, the limits in the Disclaimer still apply. Please check current pricing, features and terms on the vendor's own site before you buy anything — AI tools change too fast for any article to be a reliable substitute for the vendor's own pricing page.
