AI tools change faster than articles do
This is the most important limitation on this site, so it goes first.
The AI industry moves week to week. Between the day an article is published and the day you read it, any of the following may have changed:
- Pricing — plans, per-seat costs, credit costs and billing models change often.
- Free tiers — free plans get reduced, time-limited, or removed entirely.
- Features and model versions — capabilities ship, change, and get withdrawn.
- Availability — tools change which countries they serve, and some shut down.
- Terms of service — including what a vendor may do with the data you put in.
Always confirm current pricing, features, availability and terms on the vendor's own website before you sign up, subscribe, or pay for anything. Where an article and a vendor's official page disagree, the vendor's page is correct and the article is out of date. Be careful what you put into an AI tool
Many of the tools discussed on this site send whatever you type to a third party's servers, and some use that input to improve their models unless you turn that off.

- Confidential or commercially sensitive business information
- Anything covered by an NDA or a contract
- Credentials, API keys, or passwords
- Health, financial, or identity information about anybody
Check the tool's own privacy policy and data-retention settings. This is your responsibility, not the tool's, and not mine.
AI output can be wrong
AI tools produce confident, fluent output that is sometimes simply incorrect — invented facts, invented citations, invented quotes, wrong arithmetic, and outdated information presented as current.
If you use an AI tool for anything that matters, verify the output before you rely on it or publish it. Treat AI output as a draft from an assistant who is fast, tireless, and occasionally wrong without warning.
You are also responsible for how you use what AI tools produce, including copyright, plagiarism, disclosure obligations, and the rules of any platform you publish on.
Your results will vary
Where a tutorial or workflow here describes what worked, it is describing a particular setup, for a particular task, at a particular time. Your tools, data, prompts, skills, industry and goals are different, so your results will be different.
Nothing here is a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome — including any result relating to traffic, search rankings, revenue, savings, or time saved. Where an article mentions an outcome, it is describing one experience, not predicting yours.
